This sites purpose is to share information for free but does offer a small selection of shopping pages for the art lover, the artist (including some art & craft supplies), and a seperate section for metaphysical hand crafted tools and supplies. The majority of our items are regularly offered for sale at retail shopping sites such as Etsy.com and ArtFire.com, so shopping is added here as a convenience to visitors. At this time orders in the USA are accepted. International shoppers must contact me for Priority International shipping upgrade. Why? Because all of the information and "Buy" buttons on this site must be added by hand due to the one of a kind nature of most of the products offered, and shipping is already calculated into the purchase price.
This site uses the PayPal Shopping cart. Your order will be processed through the PayPal system to ensure your safety. Note that you do NOT have to have a PayPal account to use the PayPal shopping cart. See below for alternative payment options. You may also check out through the shopping cart and simply mark the button that says " I do not have a paypal account" and then check out with your credit or debit card without using a paypal account. If you have any difficulties you are welcome to use the Contact link and I'll be glad to help, but the shopping cart usually pretty straight forward and easy to use.
Here's how it works to place an order using the PayPal shopping cart and PayPal buttons on this site...
Artist made items are generally unique, one of a kind creations, so there will often only be one available for purchase. All items are subject to availability, which can change quickly. Items will remain visible for sale here until payment is received. If for any reason a paid item is no longer available, a full PayPal refund will be issued right away.
I accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA and electronic checks through PayPal. When you make a purchase through the "Add to Cart" buttons, you are actually submitting the payment to PayPal, an independent payment organization, which uses secure Internet connections to protect your information. PayPal is a respected Internet company, and paying by PayPal ensures prompt service, (see more details about PayPal membership below). Direct snail mail checks and money orders welcomed as well; you must use the Contact page to request mailing address and verify correct shipping, (see details below).
FIRST METHOD TO MAKE A PURCHASE ON THIS SITE:
1. If the item you wish to purchase has an "Add To Cart" or "Buy Now" button, just click that button and the item will be added to a secure PayPal shopping cart. You may order one or more items, if available, and your shopping cart will show each purchase. You can also remove any item or change the quantity before checking out. If the item you wish to purchase does not have a visible "Add To Cart" button, please use the SECOND METHOD below.
* The price for the item will total the item's cost and the USA S&H charge included. If this is acceptable to you go on to step two.
* Most items are shipped based on weight and destination, or may have shipping included in the purchase price (regular First Class or Priority Mail rate).
* Because of the nature of the PayPal shopping cart, and the fact that I may have only one of an item, I have added a default shipping fee on many single item "Add to Cart" offerings. When purchasing two or more items, this can result in a higher S & H charge than necessary. However you MAY combine shipping and make one payment to have the total order shipped. Contact me with your email address, see Contact Page, instead of using the shopping cart "Checkout". Be sure to include your Zip Code so that I might be able to combine your order and reduce overall Shipping & Handling costs. You may also go directly to PayPal (www.paypal.com) and request an invoice from PayPal member jtpruittarts@aol.com .
* Some items for sale here are shipped directly to you by a printing company or drop ship distribution center. Such manufactured items ship separate from hand crafted, Mystic Griffin site, artist made items, so have a 10 - 14 day turn around time on orders and will be marked as such.
* If you want your order insured, click the Insurance "Add To Cart" button or contact.
If you are using the shopping cart, are purchasing two or more items, want insurance, and the total purchase including S & H does not exceed $50.00 only add insurance to cart once. The entire shipment will be insured. If purchase total exceeds $50.00 add insurance twice.
* If your delivery address is in the state of Indiana, sales tax for your purchase will be added by PayPal.
* When you are finished shopping, review your order and, when satisfied that it is what you want, click the "Checkout" button in your shopping cart, and follow the instructions.
Q. Why does it ask me if I want to display "non-secure" items on the PayPal checkout page?
A. The non-secure items the message speaks of is often the Mystic Griffin site image banner that will show at the top of the page if you click to have it shown; otherwise the image will simply be a red X. Accepting or denying this image banner has no effect on your purchase, (or much of anything), it is just "for looks". It's termed as non-secure because Paypal didn't put it there and it has an image hosting address.
* If you would like your order to be shipped via different shipping, for example; by Priority or Express Mail if First Class is the only option, please send an email to me to determine the cost of the alternate shipping method. I will provide the new S & H and ask you to place your order using the Second Method below.
When you're order is finished at PayPal you will be redirected to a Mystic Griffin site Confirmation page. You will receive notification email, from this site, as to status of your order after I/we receive your order. Normally notification is by email within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of the order. Most orders will be shipped within 7 to 10 business days of receipt of the order. However you should allow up to 6 to 8 weeks for your order to be shipped in full for pre-manufactured items like tiles or t-shirts. You will be notified within 24 hours of shipping when your order was shipped to you.
SECOND METHOD:
From time to time a PayPal programming error prevents the "Add to Cart" buttons on these Web pages from displaying. If you wish to make a purchase using PayPal when the "Add to Cart" buttons do not display, please send an email. Use the Contact link on the navigation bar at the left.
Identify the merchandise item number, for example: "#MA001 Kokopelli Throw" and quantity you'd like to order.
I will email you the new total cost by PayPal invoice email.
