Original artwork adapted from authentic historical Minoan fresco designs, this pine wood plaque portrays an image of a mythical griffin, or gryphon -- half lion and half eagle -- in the rare winged Minoan style, with two playful swallows in flight.
The word "MAGIC" is present above the birds to burn a reminder of the magic around us all, even in these modern times. The hand painted & burned pine wood plaque comes with a sturdy metal display easel with antique gold finish, reminicent of bamboo. With the stand it sits 11" tall. The 1" thick plaque itself meaures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2". Actually takes up very little display surface overall, yet stands out well and sits perfectly on top of an entertainment center; near the check out area in a New-age or metaphysical shop even! Sure to add a touch of magic to any home decor. Pyrography artwork is coated well with indoor/outdoor varnish, but recommened for indoor enjoyment.
