This image is original collage art. Each time your eye moves a different direction the words tell a different version of a story. The main subject in this piece is made of vintage magazine snippets about Poe, a color scan of a period funeral photograph, and a touch of a Van Gogh painting (magazine cut-out of course, can't afford to cut up the real thing you know) mixed with hand painted touches, including black painted border. It's really art about love, and self torment. The background is a crinkled gold paper and it's filled with text about Poe -- a wordy ACEO is perfect for a poet! Quality thick Strathmore paper, PVA glue, acrylic paint and acid free varnish coating give this stout card a glossy shine! *Image shown is a scan of the actual card for online showing; card will likely be considered as looking much better in person.
